Information handling

What happens to what you tell us.

Before an NDA, keep it general

Our contact form and the first stage of our intake are not confidential. They ask what you are building and what decision you face, not how your invention works. Please keep technical detail out of them.

Confidential material comes after a mutual NDA

When an engagement needs technical detail, we put a mutual non-disclosure agreement in place first, and then collect that material through a private link rather than a public form.

Walls between engagements

Some of our work looks at more than one company in the same field. We set conflict and confidentiality walls for each engagement, so what one client shares is not used in work for another.

Where it is kept

Correspondence and engagement files sit in Kenorai's own Google Workspace, not on personal accounts.

We are not your lawyers

Kenorai is not a law firm. Sharing material with us does not create a lawyer-client relationship, so do not assume attorney-client privilege covers it. The NDA is what protects it. Where our work reaches a legal question, we stop and hand it to your patent attorney.

Ask us anything this page does not cover

If you need to know something specific before you share, such as how long we keep material or how we return it, write to hello@kenorai.com and we will answer it for your engagement in writing.
